Slow Caves
Indie rock band, Slow Caves, formed in Fort Collins, Colorado. Consisting of Danish-American brothers, Jakob and Oliver Mueller, and their childhood friend David Dugan, the band solidified in 2014 after a decade of high school bands came to an end. After cutting their teeth in the Denver music scene, the band garnered attention from Old Flame Records and subsequently released the EP, Desert Minded in 2017. The following year they released a double A side picture disc (Poser/Rover). The band spent the last three years touring extensively, highlighted by performances at SXSW, Velorama and Treefort Music Fest. They have opened for national acts such as Third Eye Blind, Cold War Kids, Modest Mouse, Matt & Kim, Cake, Rooney, DIIV, The Kills, and many others. After sharpening their live show on the road, the band entered the studio with legendary record producer, Chris “Frenchie” Smith. Recorded at The Bubble in Austin, TX, Slow Caves released their debut album, “Falling” via Old Flame Records on March 22nd, 2019. The release garnered attention from press sources like the Alt Press, Earmilk, and Substream Magazine and received airplay on over 50 radio stations nationwide.
Wildermiss
Wildermiss is an indie rock band from Denver, Colorado. Emma Cole sings and plays synth, Joshua Hester plays guitar, and Caleb Thoemke plays drums. They have sold out all of their hometown headlining shows since 2017 and steadily gained momentum nationwide with multiple support tours and festival spots. The band is currently working on the follow up to their quarantine singles “Supermagical” and “Italy” with plans to tour until their van dies again like it did in Michigan that one time.
Miguel Avina
Miguel Aviña is a Mexican singer, songwriter, and producer. He is best known as the lead singer and guitarist of the band iZCALLi. He has enjoyed consistent success and is widely credited as one of the key artists of the Rock En Tu Idioma (RETI) movement in Colorado. As a solo artist, Miguel takes the opportunity to journey into a deeper exploration of music. His lyrics and melodies resonate from the heart and exude raw emotions. These are best exposed through a more simple approach… his voice and his guitar. Miguel’s repertoire includes all original songs from his storied career with iZCALLi as well as unreleased songs from his own personal collection. There is something familiar yet refreshing about Miguel’s approach to song-writing that showcases Miguel’s passion for The Love Song; these songs exhibit his wide range of influences: traditional folk ballads, pop, indie sounds, that are always tinged with a Latin flare, a flare that takes you into your heart, and warms the soul.
