Ben Sollee’s Songscape single, “Slackwater”, will premiere in American Songwriter on October 20, 2020. Inspired by his retreat at New Jersey’s Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge, Sollee has crafted a moving song that tackles climate change. Our public lands play an important role in protecting us from the impacts of climate change and we hope the Slackwater song and music video will inspire people to take action to protect our public lands, and take action on climate.
This was nonprofit Sustain Music & Nature’s 6th Songscape project which partners bands and public lands to create music in celebration of our lands.
