Reschedule: Sagebrush Session Lineup Reveal now MAY 9

In light of CDC’s recommendations, we are postponing the Sagebrush Session Lineup Reveal Party. Originally scheduled for April 11th, it has been pushed back to May 9. All other details remain the same.

Already purchased your ticket? It has automatically been updated and is valid for May 9.

Purchased a ticket, but May 9 doesn’t work for you? Contact betsy@sustainmusicandnature.org and I’ll get you a refund!

In the event that gatherings are still discouraged in May, we will be able to issue refunds, or you can convert your ticket purchase into a donation for Sustain.

Thanks for you understanding in these tricky times!

Say Hello at the North American Wildlife Conference!

We’re going to Omaha!

Sustain’s Co-Founders are headed to the continent’s biggest gathering of wildlife conservation professionals, representing public land agencies and conservation nonprofits from all over. We’re excited to show folks how Sustain helps make public lands and conservation relevant to everyone, using music!

If you’re going, please say hello. We’re friendly :)

We got a grant!

Sustain got a Colorado Creates grant!

We’re thrilled to receive a grant from Colorado’s Office of Economic Development and International Trade! The “Colorado Creates” grant will help support Sustain’s programming in Colorado.

Also, wouldn’t it be cool if every state dedicated resources like this to arts?

Colorado Creative Industries believes in the power of creativity to inspire human connections, create social change and support economic vibrancy throughout Colorado. We believe in the practice of creation, the artists and entrepreneurs who contribute to our rich culture and the benefits of our creative economy.

We support and encourage the innovators, creators, change-makers and dreamers who improve our quality of life and make Colorado creative. We focus on strengthening the vitality of visual, performing and literary arts through promotion, resources and funding opportunities. We believe in bold innovation and the invaluable contributions the arts bring to this beautiful state.

Our most humble thank you for the grant and to the legislators that support funding for arts organizations! Woo hoo!

For our second hike & concert date, we’ve got Courtney Hartman (poor thing was sick last time) and Covenhoven! Courtney is a grammy-nominated, champion guitar player and Covenhoven hails from Denver, crafting moving folk songs. They’ll be performing acoustically at Horsetooth Mountain Park in Fort Collins, CO.

Are you a band interested in doing a Songscape?

Got a large following and might be interested in doing a Songscape? Check out this PDF that talks more about the process and what’s involved! Generally we’re looking for bands with more than 50,000 Facebook Followers, but we do make exceptions.

Why work with big bands? The mission of Songscapes is to create new fans for public lands. Since each Songscape takes about $10,000-$20,000 to produce, and we have extremely limited funds, we need to make sure that Songscapes reach as many people as possible. We’re trying to make America appreciate and protect its public lands, so we try to work with bands who are able to make that vision possible.

However, we know how hard emerging bands work! And we’ve worked with crazy talented emerging bands! We may be able to work something out if you’re passionate :). Email harrison@sustainmusicandnature.org
