This summer Sustain Music & Nature partnered with the Fort Collins Musicians Association and the Holiday Twin Drive-In to put on safe live music at a drive-in theater in Fort Collins, CO. Honored to be named in NPR’s list of 16 top sessions of 2020!
Giving Tuesday - Support Sustain on December 1
Giving Tuesday, a day that honors generosity and giving back to organizations that make the world a better place, happens on December 1st this year. This day is the biggest day of support for Sustain, ensuring that we can do our important work for musicians and the environment in the year to come.
Please donate on December 1st to make sure we can keep supporting artists through our Sagebrush Sessions (as some of the only safe music options during Covid) and that we can do Songscapes in 2021 when the pandemic ends. Your donation directly supports musicians in a time when their world is upside down and many are facing severe financial hardship.
Facebook is matching donations on December 1st, starting at 8am EST. We will have a Facebook fundraiser available that morning. Your $25 donation becomes $50 thanks to Facebook. If you’re a Facebook user, visit our Giving Tuesday event and RSVP to stay up-to-date when our fundraiser launches.

Wildlife DJ Concert for US Fish & Wildlife Service's Arctic Bird Fest a Success!
Sustain Music & Nature collaborated with the US Fish & Wildlife Service and Audubon Alaska to provide a virtual concert for the 2020 Arctic Bird Fest, celebrating Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and the hundreds of birds species that call it home. Ben Mirin, also known as DJ Ecotone, created a moving performance using audio samples of birds, bugs, frogs and fish that he’s recorded in the wild. This effort aligns with Sustain’s mission of making music a force for nature, and expanding audiences for the environment through music.

Sustain Brings Music to Arctic Refuge Virtual Bird Fest!
Did you know that birds make people feel less stressed? Well we've got good news for everyone! On Friday, Nov. 13, we're celebrating Arctic Refuge Virtual Bird Fest with a special concert by our friend and wildlife DJ, Ben Mirin! Part of a week long virtual celebration of the birds of USFWS Arctic National Wildlife Refuge with U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and Audubon Alaska. De-stress with us and the birds next week!
